Performance
- Filtering by star rating is significantly faster. Rated-photo searches are now more responsive on large libraries.
- The grid thumbnail view zooms more smoothly and reliably. Thumbnails no longer go blank when zooming on photos stored in iCloud.
- The batch rename window loads significantly faster by eliminating a slow class-scanning pass at startup.
- The sidebar renders more efficiently under rapid updates.
- The inspector panel now loads complete original metadata for selected photos.
Compare Mode
- Actions now operate on the photos selected in the viewer rather than the underlying collection. Delete, Remove from Album, Set Favorite, keyword hotkeys, and other actions now work reliably in Compare mode.
Context Menus
- Added context menus to the compare view and single photo view for quick access to common actions.
Notifications
- Photos stored in iCloud that cannot be loaded due to no internet connection now show a warning notification instead of a blank image.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a crash when the photo library sent change notifications during internal updates.
- Fixed a crash during grid view updates.
- Fixed undo for Move Photos where Cmd-Z could silently do nothing.
- Fixed undo for Undelete restoring photos instead of deleting them again.
- Fixed keyword hotkeys sometimes doing nothing immediately after applying a keyword.
- Fixed several incorrectly enabled or disabled menu items (Rename, Load Track Log, Clear Location).
- Fixed an issue where opening the app could result in no photo being selected.
- Improved selection preservation when switching views or when the photo library updates in the background.

New navigation options: Added menu items to select the next or previous photo.
Streamlined quick editing: While editing a photo’s title or keywords, you can now use the new navigation commands (or keyboard shortcuts) to move to the next or previous photo. The keyboard focus stays in the text field, so you can continue editing without interruption.
Map view enhancements: New menu items let you zoom in and out of the map.
Persistent zoom: The app now remembers your zoom level in the grid view between sessions.
Faster grid view: Improved performance through smarter caching of photo thumbnails.
Sharper thumbnails: Fixed an issue where grid thumbnails appeared at too low a resolution.
Improved image display: Fixed a bug where the full-size photo was briefly replaced with a thumbnail in single image view.
