Product Version Licensing
- HoudahSpot, Tembo, and Photos Workbench licenses are valid for their respective current major versions.
- For example, a HoudahSpot 6 license covers all HoudahSpot 6.x versions. When version 7 is released, you'll have the option to purchase an upgrade or continue using version 6.
HoudahGeo Licensing
- HoudahGeo licenses include 12 months of free updates.
- Your license is perpetual — you can always use any version released during your 12-month update period.
- After this period, you'll be offered the option to extend your update coverage at a reduced price.
HoudahSpot Upgrades
HoudahSpot 6 is a paid upgrade from previous versions.
The single-user upgrade license is priced at $ 19.
The family upgrade license is priced at $ 29.
Install the latest version and load your current license. You will be offered the option to purchase an upgrade.
Licenses purchased on or after June 1, 2020 apply to both HoudahSpot 5 and 6.
HoudahGeo Upgrades
HoudahGeo 7 is a paid upgrade from earlier versions.
The single-user upgrade license is priced at $ 21.
The family upgrade license is priced at $ 32.
Install the latest version and load your current license. You will be prompted with the upgrade offer.
Upgrades include 12 months of free updates.
Licenses for HoudahGeo 6 purchased on or after May 1, 2024 include a free upgrade to HoudahGeo 7.0. These licenses also receive free updates until October 31, 2025, or 12 months from the purchase date — whichever is later.
Tembo Upgrades
Tembo 3.0 is a paid upgrade from previous versions.
The single-user upgrade license is priced at $ 8.
The family upgrade license is priced at $ 12.
Install the latest version and load your current license. You will be offered the option to purchase an upgrade.
Licenses purchased on or after January 1, 2022 apply to both Tembo 2 and 3.
Photos Workbench Upgrades
Photos Workbench 1.2 licenses are valid indefinitely for all 1.x versions.
